You need your own personal Sports Account for transactions on Suomisport. When logging into the service, Suomisport checks if you already have an account.
This article explains how to log in or how to create a Sports Account for the first time.
You can log in to Suomisport via the web browser version at suomisport.fi or by downloading the Suomisport mobile app from your app store. In the app, you remain logged in, eliminating the need to log in again each time you use the service!
How to log in or create a Sports Account on Suomisport (browser version):
1. Start the login or account creation process by visiting www.suomisport.fi.
2. Click the "Log in" button in the top right corner of the page.
3. Begin the login or account creation by requesting a one-time login code via email or phone number:
If you already have an account, request a one-time login code to the contact information (phone number or email) associated with your Sports Account.
NOTE: As a personal user (athlete, parent etc.), you don't have a permanent password in the service!
You log in by always requesting a new code.
4. Receive a response with a 6-digit one-time login code. The code is valid for 10 minutes (text message) and 30 minutes (email).
5. Enter the received code into the number field on the browser screen. This will grant you access to the service or the Sports Account creation page.
If you are creating a new Sports Account, fill in all the requested information.

For parents/guardians, here's how to log in to Suomisport (browser version):
Always log in to your own Sports Account first.
If you don't have a Sports Account yet, Suomisport will guide you to create one when logging in with a login code. If your child doesn't have their own Sports Account, you can create one through your Sports Account by clicking the "Add dependent" button in the top right menu or when purchasing a product for your dependent in the "Add new dependent" section.
NOTE: If your child already has a Sports Account but it hasn't been linked to your Sports Account, contact Suomisport customer service or see instructions here for making a guardianship connection.
In the future, you can access your child's/dependent's Sports Account through your own Sports Account.
