What should I consider when organising an audit event?

Modified on Thu, 18 Mar, 2021 at 3:10 PM

  1. The club must contact the sports federation’s club developer to agree upon the date and time of the audit when the self-assessment is complete and the development path has been sent to the auditor, at the latest. Contact information >
  2. The club must reserve a space that is large enough as well as any catering (costs to be covered by the club), and prepare any remote arrangements if the event will include remote participants. It is recommended to reserve at least three hours for the event.
  3. The club must invite at least 4–7 people/area (e.g. young people, children’s parents, coaches, board members, head coach, head of youth activities, head of adult sports, board chair and operations manager) to the event.
  4. The club must communicate openly about the audit event and preferably strive to ensure that the number of participants exceeds the minimum requirement.
  5. The club must e-mail the names and roles of the participants to the auditors.
  6. The club must indicate the exact time and place of the event to the auditor and club members and officials.
  7. After the audit event, the auditor will prepare an assessment of the development path and the club will receive a summary report within two week of the audit.
