Suomisport is a digital service for the entire sports community, connecting sports federations, clubs, and athletes. The service is non-commercial and is developed collaboratively with various stakeholders in sports.
The development, maintenance, and customer service of the platform are funded through transactions, charged in connection with each paid event. There are no additional costs for the club.
What does Suomisport cost for my club? What is the transaction fee?
The use of Suomisport is free, with no annual, monthly, or other fixed fees. Event registration without payment functions can be utilized for free. If your club manages season, membership, event, or other fees through Suomisport, a transaction fee for will be charged per payment.
The transaction fee is divided between Suomisport (Finnish Ollympic Committee) and the payment service provider Svea Payments.
Svea Payments transfers the club's Suomisport payments to the club's bank account according to the agreed payment service contract made between Svea and the club. The lump sum minus the transaction share of the sold services is trasferred. The club receives the funds regardless of the payer's chosen payment method, saving on banking service fees. It is advisable to consider the transaction fee in the club's pricing.
The transaction fee consists of two parts:
- Service Fee (Suomisport, Finnish Olympic Committee): 0.97 EUR
- Payment Method Fee (Svea Payments): varies depending on the payer's selected payment method.

Example 1: A club member pays the club's annual membership fee of 35 EUR through Suomisport using online banking. Suomisport service fee (0.97 EUR) + payment method fee (0.35 EUR) = total transaction cost of 1.32 EUR. The club receives 33.68 EUR through Svea for the membership fee.
Example 2: The club collects registrations for a summer camp event on Suomisport, where registration is free. There are no costs for the club related to the use of Suomisport Event management.
